Jokes Vols New Big Man on Campus OL Trey Smith: “I Will Not Eat You”

As Tennessee continues spring drills, it seems freshman offensive Trey Smith has been pretty impressive.
He graduated high school early so he could enroll at UT and take part in spring practice.
Smith was a five-star recruit that some declared the top recruit in the nation.
It seems the Memphis native is certainly the new big man on campus, although he’s trying to downplay that image.
Reporter:”Do people recognize you on campus?”
Said Smith:”Every once in awhile. Lot of times people are scared. Just a friendly public service announcement, I will not eat you or harm you. I just want to say hi. You see my by, just stop and say hi.”
Said head coach Butch Jones:”You know he has come into our football family, and he has just worked. He continues to earn the respect of his peers and his teammates and everyone around him. The way he carries himself on a daily basis.”
