Officer Involved Shooting at National Cemetery

4 pm Update:  In a press conference, Chattanooga Police say:

— they were called by Cemetery officials over an agitated man with a knife

— he would not put it down

— multiple officers have been put on leave (standard policy) for firing on the man

— he survived and is at the hospital

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating an officer involved shooting at the National Cemetery on South Holtzclaw Avenue.

The initial call was about a man with a knife.

Police say there is not suspect at large at this time.
