They are investigating the case because it involves Chattanooga Police.
Officials say Jonathan Hayward Finley was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon and taken to the Silverdale Detention Center.
He was charged with:

• Aggravated Assault (Against a First Responder) x2 – (TCA § 39-13-102)
Chattanooga Police said yesterday that their officers responded when Cemetery officials called them about an agitated man with a knife.
