Operator of Brainerd drug house convicted of cocaine trafficking

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A federal jury has convicted a Chattanooga man of cocaine trafficking.

37 year old Jamaal Parker was also known as “MoneyMaal.”

Prosecutors say Parker brought in a large supply of the drug from Atlanta and sold it through a house on Hoyt Street in Brainerd.

When investigators arrested in March of 2019, they say they found him with 4 kilograms of cocaine and a loaded gun.

The Department of Justice’s Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program led the investigation.

When he faces sentencing in October, Parker faces a mandatory 15 years to life in prison.
