Amy-O-Meter: Cleveland High School students clean up Mouse Creek

(WDEF)  Dozens of Cleveland High School students "Did the Right Thing" this past weekend, and helped beautify their community.
The students teamed up with Cleveland’s Storm Water Division, the Cleveland/Bradley Keep America Beautiful and Friends of the Greenway to fish trash out of Mouse Creek on Saturday.
        That gets a "10" on the Amy-O-Meter!
The students waded into the Creek to get the plastic cups, license plates and other trash that found its way into the waterway.
Two students also helped out Trout Unlimited with an aquatic bug census.
The entire effort was a great example of students "Doing the Right Thing" by volunteering their time to make their community a better place.  The spring cleanup serves as part of Cleveland’s stormwater public reach program.  Another cleanup will happen this fall.
