Bradley County Held Household Hazardous Waste Day

Bradley County, Tenn. (WDEF) – Bradley County residents are working to keep their county green and clean.

On Saturday, the sheriff’s office hosted a “Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.”

Volunteers collected unwanted items from electronics to paint, to keep them out of area streams or on the side of the road.

“I go in and take care of folks that their properties are overgrown, or their garbage or their, it’s very important that we put those items in the right place. If we don’t, then we’re going to have a very big mess for Bradley County residents,” says Lt. Tim Mason with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

Bradley County will hold another collection day in the spring.
