Calhoun Couple Arrested for Murder of a Child
Calhoun, Georgia (WDEF) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) have arrested Robert Elder, 32, and Olivia Groomes, 26, of Calhoun, Georgia, for one count of Cruelty to Children in the Second Degree and one count of Murder in the Second Degree.
The Calhoun Police Department and the GBI began an investigation two months ago regarding the death of three-year-old Sebastian Kincaid.
Kincaid was brought to the Gordon County Hospital in May of 2018 by his mother, Groomes. Kincaid was pronounced dead a short time later.
Both Groomes and Elder are currently incarcerated at the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office.
