Carter County inmate charged with throwing his urine on guards
CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – A man in the Carter County jail allegedly threw a cup of his own urine on four deputies Monday.
That’s according to a report obtained by our sister station in Johnson City, WJHL.
According to a Carter County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies were trying to remove inmate James Scalf from a cell after he had become aggressive and began urinating on the floor of the cell.
He was also accused of pushing that urine under the door of the cell and out into the booking area.
Once deputies entered the cell they noticed Scalf holding a urine-filled cup, which he threw on four deputies, according to the report.
