CFC Women finish regular season with a win, proposal

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga FC women’s team secured the regular season conference title Thursday in Knoxville, after beating Emerald Force SC 5-1.

Sunday, they capped off the conference portion of the regular season at Fort Finley. The ladies in blue shut out the Memphis Lobos 2-0.

The biggest news happened before the first kick of the game, though. Defender Brittney Reed was chosen to answer a few get-to-know-you questions with General Manager Gretchen Hammel.

What she didn’t know is that her boyfriend, Zack Morgan, was behind her with one final question for her, and she said yes!
