Child dead after accidentally shooting himself in chest

PAULDING COUNTY, GA (CBS46) – A 3 year-old boy is dead after accidentally shooting himself in the chest at his home in Paulding County Tuesday morning.

It is unclear how the boy obtained the gun before the incident, which took place around 7 a.m. at a home on Camp Circle in Dallas.

He was taken to Paulding-Wellstar hospital where he was pronounced dead. The shooting is ruled to have been accidental.
