Crews find body of missing boater in Percy Priest Lake

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Officials have found the body of a boater who fell into a Nashville-area reservoir and never resurfaced.

Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency Officer Josh Landrum tells news outlets that authorities found the body of 50-year-old Kongmany Rajaphoumy on Sunday night after a nearly nine-hour search in Percy Priest Lake.

Nashville Fire Department spokesman Brian Haas says the Davidson County resident was test driving a boat that morning when it made a sharp turn and he fell into the water. He was not wearing a life jacket.

Crews used boats, sonar and search dogs to look for the man.
