Dade County Tax Increase Approved
Trenton, GA (WDEF) Dade County residents face a tax increase.
Commissioners voted to increase the rate by 1.73 mils.
They originally wanted to increase it by 4 mils, but went back to the drawing board after a public outcry.

If you own a $100,000 home, you’ll pay $69 more a year.
Officials say the 2011 tornadoes and recent flooding hurt the county funds.
