DeKalb and Jackson County officials work together to solve presumed domestic violence situation

Ider, AL (WDEF) – DeKalb and Jackson County deputies work together to try to solve what appears to be a domestic violence situation.
    Early Wednesday morning, DeKalb County Deputies found a red Ford Ranger truck that Jackson County officials were looking for, because officials there believed it was involved in a shooting.
    When DeKalb County deputies found it parked at the Ider Church of Christ, they also found a man’s body with a gunshot wound to the head.
    Jackson County and DeKalb County Investigators were called to the scene and the body was sent for positive identification.
    The investigation is ongoing, but DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says it appears to be a domestic violence situation.
