Driver dies after hitting dog on his ATV

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – The Georgia State Patrol reports that a crash between an ATV and a dog proved fatal for the driver.

It happened on Bethel Church Road outside of Dalton on Tuesday evening.

Troopers say 36 year old Joshua Lee O’Bryant was on the all-terrain-vehicle when he hit a dog in the road.

They say he was taken to the hospital but did not survive his injuries.
