Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – January 19, 2019

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this weekend.

Singer Art Garfunkel will be performing at the Walker Theatre Saturday night.

He’s known as a solo artist, and half of Simon & Garfunkel.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

If you’re an AC/DC fan, you’ll want to check out the band, Back in Black, at the Songbirds South Stage Saturday night.

They’ll be playing 40 years worth of the classic rock band’s hits, including Highway to Hell.

The show starts at 9 p.m.

You could also head down to Atlanta on Saturday for the city’s third annual Winter Wine Festival.

Your ticket includes entertainment, a souvenir wine glass, and plenty of wine, beer and cider samples.

You can check out the event from either 12 to 4 p.m., or 6 to 10 p.m. at the City Winery.

The Warner Parks Nature Center in Nashville is a great place to view the total lunar eclipse Sunday night.

Show up anytime between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. for telescopic views, hot drinks, and a campfire.
