Fire at Bradley County Courthouse
Bradley County, TN (WDEF) – A fire broke out at the Bradley County Courthouse this morning and according to Cleveland Fire Battalion Chief Hank Pate, the call for an investigation of smoke odor came in just after 8:00am.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they could see smoke coming from the courthouse and immediately called for a structure fire response.

The fire was found in the mechanical room and was extinguished quickly. No one was inside and there were no reported injuries.
“The entire building has smoke damage. Some rooms more than others, but every room in the courthouse has some sort of smoke damage,” said Battalion Chief Pate.

The fire department is investigating the cause and origin of fire.
Bradley County Mayor Gary Davis said the commission meeting Monday night has been moved to the Bradley County High School library
