Foundation House Ministries upcoming luncheon

CLEVELAND, Tennessee- Foundation House Ministries is celebrating its 7th year open and aiding the community in May.

The ministry is based out of Cleveland and provides financial, emotional, and physical support to mothers struggling with addiction for 13 surrounding counties.

In 2020. due to the pandemic, Executive Director Suzanne Burns wasn’t able to have the annual luncheon to raise money and inform people of what work has been going on with the organization.

She said a lot has happened over the past two years including the opening of thrift shops, helping its 100th mother who used housing, and over 500 women in general.

Burns said the event allows people to reconnect and hear people’s stories firsthand.

“These events are like family reunions. Getting to see the people I love that love me and love our moms, the people that support the work we do. We’ve seen girls graduate, we’ve seen families reunited, we’ve seen so many babies born,” said Burns.

The luncheon will be Friday, April 23rd at Old Woolen Mill.

Tickets to the event are free but she’s asking company’s or individuals to sponsor tables at $200 dollars.
