Hamilton County School Bus driver “I have to start to heal”

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee- Multiple people are supporting a Hamilton County School Bus Driver on Facebook the bus driver said he was fired for a post asking why school wasn’t delayed.

Jonathan McKenney posted on Facebook questioning why school wasn’t delayed despite poor road conditions.

There is been a ton of support of Facebook regarding his post and numerous people have expressed interest in signing a petition for McKenny.

We reached out to McKenny who says he doesn’t wish to speak again but did say in a statement.

“I appreciate the support of The community as I fought for and supported daily the kids of that community with my whole heart,” said McKenney.

He added “the system is corrupt and they turned my bus owner on me.”

Hamilton County Schools Chief Operations Officer Doctor Justin Robertson said in Thursday nights school board meeting another contractor can still choose to use McKenny as a drive.
