Heritage High Food Farm

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Heritage High School students are helping themselves and the community.

They started an aeroponic farm.

The harvest will be eaten in the school cafeteria, donated to needy families and will end up at local restaurants.

Heritage High School joined Ellis Jaxon Farms and Americans For Schools to continue to communicate the message, “A Child Can Raise a Village.”

Heritage High School students began their aeroponic farm by planting the tower gardens.

The program is designed to incorporate science, technology, engineering and mathematics into farming education.
