Holistic healing helps Tennessee residents
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – For most people, stress is something they deal with each and every day.
But some doctors say if people could just control stress they would be healthier and live longer.
One allergist-immunologist who spoke today at Stanley United Methodist church taught people about the benefits of holistic healing.
It was a lesson that most people would like to learn and Dr. Sitesh Roy, whose organization is known as NIRA, demonstrated techniques to a room full of people this morning.
The NIRA group is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
In what he called a healing conference, the session included meditation and some yoga techniques.
Dr. Roy said, “we know that every disease is related to some form of stress or other. Whether its physical, biochemical, psyco-chemical, emotional, psychological or spiritual..healing works on all of these aspects on mind, body and spirit.”
Most of today’s participants received $50 scholarships to pay for today’s session.
