Jeff Styles placed on leave following road rage incident
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Management at WGOW radio today announced they have put host Jeff Styles on leave.
He had been on vacation last week, following the June 15th road rage incident.
Styles was charged with Aggravated Assault and Vandalism, even though he was the one who was shot in the arm.
A motorist says Styles charged him with a hatchet and attacked his car.
He says he shot the Talk Radio 102.3 personality in self defense.
Styles’s attorney said the driver was following and threatening him after he passed a slow truck.
Management says Styles will be on leave pending their own internal investigation into what happened and will have no further comment on the incident.
