July 16th Terror shooting victim Dennis Pedigo returns to work on Monday
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police officer Dennis Pedigo is back on the job.
He was the officer who was shot and wounded by Mohammad Abdulazeez last July at the Naval training facility on Amnicola Highway.
Five reservists died there as the home-grown terrorist attacked that site and the recruiting center on Lee Highway.
Pedigo will be on “light duty” until cleared by doctors to return to full duty.
Police chief Fred Fletcher called Officer Pedigo “a true hero who still has a long road ahead to full recovery.”
“He still has a long road ahead to full recovery, but he is strong and he is a fighter and we all have his back.”
