Marion County rolls 43-6 over Meigs County

(WDEF) – Our Friday night tailgate went to Marion County.

The Warriors moved up from number two to number one this week in the Class 2-A rankings.

And they had the opportunity to put their new ranking on the line against Meigs County.

The Warriors played like the top team in the state against the Tigers.

Opening moments, and Marion County’s defense swarms the defense.

Warriors get two points with a safety.

Marion County gets the ball on offense, and they put it in the end zone. Jacob Saylors with the honor.

Saylors was just warming up.

He gets in the open field, and just starts pulling away.

66-yard touchdown romp for Saylors.

We join this next Saylors moment, already in progress.

This time Saylors with an interception.

He’s in the open field, so it’s another big run. 52-yards.

That set up yet another Marion County touchdown to make it 22-0.

Then Saylors pads his resume even further with a touchdown reception to make it 29-0.

Saylors did it all as Marion County rolls 43-6.
