MLK Blvd. exit ramp closed while crews make repairs

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – You’ll need to find an alternate way to work Thursday morning if you take the M-L King exit off Highway 27 North.
Tennessee Department of Transportation crews discovered a potential weak spot in the bridge deck while investigating a pothole Wednesday night.
Because of the weak spot’s location, the outside lane and exit ramp to MLK Boulevard will be closed until crews can perform the necessary repairs.
TDOT urges drivers to take alternate routes into the city.
