Mocs Casey Jones Still Sidelined by Ankle Injury

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Mocs basketball team remains in first place in the Southern Conference, even though they’ve played every league game without senior Casey Jones.
He was the pre-season SoCon player of the year.
But Jones hasn’t played since hurting his ankle the first of December.
He’s doing individual workouts right now, but he’s not practicing.
Jones could redshirt, and come back next season, but for now, his future is still up in the air.
Said head coach Matt McCall,”Obviously, he’s going to have a decision to make for his career and for himself going forward. I’m here to support him in that decision. I’m not one who is going to tell him what to do. Casey has got a long career playing this game going forward, well beyond Chattanooga. I want that for him. I want him to reach his dreams and his goals. If that’s coming back this year and playing of if that’s coming back next year and playing, I’m here to support him either way.”
