Morning house fire in Dallas Bay area

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF) – Early this morning, a Dallas Bay resident woke up to the smell of smoke coming from their home. At 6:10 am, the homeowner called 9-1-1 and reported a house fire at 7304 Cline Road.

Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene reporting heavy smoke coming from the front of the house. Firefighters entered the home to find the bathroom on fire.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire with quick a extinguish. Damages are listed at $15,000 and the cause of the fire is still undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
