Officials report no credible threat at Dade Middle School

TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Dade County deputies went to school on Thursday, but found no problems at Dade Middle.

Both school and law enforcement officials report there was no credible threat at the school, but they wanted to be safe.

They investigated statements about possible violence at the school.

But the Trenton Police Chief, Dade County Sheriff, DMS principal and Dade County Superintendent all report there was nothing to it.

And no charges will be filed.
