One dead after bar altercation in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF)- An altercation inside of TBOW’S Tavern in Cleveland ended with one man dead.

The incident happend around 2 Sunday morning.

Cleveland Police say that Charles Garrett and a bar employee were in an altercation when a patron, Xavier Rouse, was shot.

Rouse was transported to Tennova Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say that Garrett fled the scene but the Bradley County Sheriff’s office was able to find him and take him into custody.

Garrett is charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Murder.
