PSC Metals Industrial Fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga firefighters made quick work of a call to PSC Metals on 19th Street.

Fire crews arrived on scene just before 9 a.m. and found smoke and flames inside the building.

Employees were evacuated to another part of the plant for safety.

The flames were coming from a trailer that was on fire inside the large warehouse where scrap metal is processed for recycling.

The cause is under investigation, and a dollar amount has not been determined at this time.

The recycling plant resumed operations in another building.

No injuries were reported.
