Road Closures due to Flash Flooding and Minor Storm Damage

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Flash Flooding and Minor Storm Damage has impacted Chattanooga travel in some areas. Due to tree and/or wire and power pole damage following the previous minor storm, some roads have been closed.

The following roads are closed for tree debris include:

  • 2400 Welch Rd – (Hamilton County)
  • Shirley Pond/Harrison Bay – (Hamilton County)
  • Signal Mtn Blvd/Mountain Ct – (Signal Mountain)
  • 5400 Delashmitt Rd – (Chattanooga)
  • 4700 Rocky River – (Chattanooga)
  • 110 Martin Road – (Red Bank)
  • Signal Mtn Blvd/Mountain CT – (Signal Mountain)
  • Gold Point Cir/Chester Frost – (Hixson)

The following roads are closed due to fallen trees across roadways:

  • 14304 Old Dayton Pike – (Hamilton County)
  • 2500 Poe Road – (Hamilton County)
  • 2400 Welch Road – (Hamilton County)
  • Hidden Brook/Middle – (Hamilton County)
  • 7726 Middle Valley Rd – (Hamilton County)
  • Shirley Pond/Harrison – (Hamilton County)
  • 5400 Delashmitt Rd – (Chattanooga)
  • 1200 Suck Creek Rd – (Chattanooga)
  • 1400 Signal Mtn Blvd – (Chattanooga)
  • 2200 Suck Creek Rd – (Hamilton County)
  • 3300 Hixson Pike SB – (Chattanooga)

The following roads are closed due to power poles and wires down and/or flooding in roadways:

  • 5809 Tyner Ln – (Hamilton County)
  • Eastgate Loop/Brainerd Rd – (Chattanooga)
  • 2500 Stuart St – (Chattanooga)
  • 1700 Ashmore Ave – (Red Bank)
  • 1400 Dayton Blvd – (Red Bank)
  • 4100 Dayton Blvd- (Red Bank)

Drivers use caution. Do not cross flooded roads. Do not drive around posted signs.
