School counselor accused of changing academic records

DOVER, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Tennessee school counselor has been indicted on charges of changing academic records.

Prosecutors say Gayla Grise altered student transcripts in Stewart County on the Kentucky border.

They say she changed records in the school database last August even though she didn’t have the clearance to do so.

The charges are Falsifying of Educational and Academic Records.
