Shelby County Man Charged in Double Homicide

Jackson, TN (WDEF) – An investigation by the TBI and the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a second person in connection with a double homicide on July 30th.

The crime occurred on Glen Springs Road in Drummond, where Robert Bailey, 66, and his 41-year old daughter Tammie Bailey, were found deceased in their home.

The investigation revealed an attempt to set the house on fire and that two individuals, Jason Holland, 36, and Michael Cullum, 46, of Millington, played a part in the crime. Holland was arrested in August and charged for his role.

On November 7th, Cullum was charged with two counts of First Degree Murder, two counts of Felony Murder, one count of Theft, one count of Arson, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He was served with the capias two weeks later while being held in the Shelby County Jail on charges from that county.

Yesterday, Cullum was booked in Tipton County on a $1,000,000 bond, and was released back to Shelby County.
