Suspect arrested for multiple bank robberies

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police arrest one man for two recent bank robberies.

Officials say Christopher Joseph Dodd gave the teller a note demanding cash and claiming he had a gun.

He did this at both the First Tennessee Bank on Highway 58 and the Cohutta Bank Co. on Highway 153 this week.

The 32-year-old is also a suspect in thefts from businesses within the same time period.

Chattanooga Police worked with both the United States Marshals Service and the Red Bank Police on these cases.
