TBI: Man identified in officer-involved shooting in Oneida
ONEIDA, Tenn. (WVLT) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said one person is dead after an officer-involved shooting on Alberta Street in Scott County Saturday morning.
The TBI said two Scott County deputies and an Oneida officer were involved.
Just before 12:30 in the morning, law enforcement initiated a traffic stop, but at first the person driving the vehicle did not stop.
The driver, who was later pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as Ron Harlan Lewallen from Dalton, Georgia.
