Three people arrested in Chattanooga drug sting
CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A gang associate and validated gang member are both facing drug charges after Chattanooga police execute a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of East 28th Street.
Carlos Pollard, 31, of Chattanooga and Michael Andrews, 21 of Chattanooga and Latoya Watkins, 34, of Chattanooga are all facing multiple drug charges in connection to a narcotics raid Chattanooga Organized Crime Detectives.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by News 12, When police searched the home and vehicles on the property, they found Marijuana with money concealed in a bag, an illegal firearm, digital scales, cocaine residue and 12 doses of ecstasy pills.
When detectives searched a cell phone, they found messages concerning the sale of narcotics.
Detectives believe all three suspects were involved in dealing as well as using the drugs.
According to police, Pollard is a Gangster Disciple associate and Andrews is a validated member of the Gangster Disciples.
Hamilton County Court records show that Pollard has a history of multiple criminal convictions that are drug related.
