UPDATE: Pilot in Deadly Calhoun Plane Crash Identified
GORDON COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — Investigators have released the name of the pilot killed in Saturday’s plane crash in Calhoun, Georgia.
The Gordon County Coroner’s Office has identified him as 63-year-old Richard Hogan of Douglasville.
The Federal Aviation Administration says an Innovator experimental, amateur-built aircraft crashed in a field just before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Hogan was the only one on-board.
The FAA is investigating, and the NTSB will determine what likely caused the crash.
