Vols Baseball Hopes to Make Rocky Top ‘Rowdy Top’ in Super Regional Against LSU

Rocky Top should be ‘Rowdy Top’ when LSU faces Tennessee this weekend in the Super Regional. The Vols swept the Tigers last March in Knoxville. Afterwards LSU’s coach called Tennessee a hostile environment, adding that they were nasty.
Vols coach Tony Vitello just hopes the joint is jacked for the Tigers return.

Said Vitello:”You know about this coming weekend. If it’s anything like last weekend. Make it that. So if you want to call that nasty, make it that. I think what we’ve got going on is our fans are trying to compete with what goes on at Alex Box stadium or down in Starkville. But the bottom line is, you’ve got the most rowdy and most electric fan bases in the country or in the SEC, and our kids weren’t able to play in front of that the first year and-a-half here. We talk about the program evolving. That’s one thing that has changed.”
