Volunteers work to cleanup storm damage on Monte Sano trails

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) – Dozens of volunteers turned out over the weekend to help clean up trails on Monte Sano – the mountain that rises above Huntsville – after storms damaged them.

WHNT-TV reports that some parts of the North Plateau trail were completely impassable.

The station reports that members of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association helped repair the trails Saturday morning. More than 150 volunteers took part in the cleanup efforts.
