Wallace A. Smith Wax Museum

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) – The kids at Wallace A. Smith are bringing history to life.

The students dressed up like characters in a wax museum.

Then, with the touch of a button, they came to life to explain a little bit about the person they are playing.

As part of a history lesson, the students are playing various characters from Ben Franklin, to Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior.

The students were all in charge of doing their own research at home.

Organizers hope this helps the kids become better public speakers, and learn a little something about history.
