Woman thrown from Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) — Officials with the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce say a person was thrown from coaster over the July 4th weekend.

Chris Cannon Director of Communications says a woman was the front passenger of a double ride sled and thrown from the sled.

Cannon says the woman suffered fractures to both wrists, a knee cap, a wrist, head trauma and possible broken ribs.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
