SUMMERVILLE, Georgia (WDEF) – The Summerville Police department is swearing out a warrant against the wife of the top politician in Chattooga County.
The move follows an incident at the County Commissioner’s meeting this morning in Chattooga County.
Local reporters were sitting in the office waiting for the meeting to begin, when witnesses say Abbey Winters poured a soda over the head of reporter Casie Bryant.
She works for the All On Georgia website.
The drink also splashed on the tablet she was using.
Witnesses say immediately afterwards, Winters told the reporter that she deserved that.
The reporter left and the Commissioner’s wife was escorted out of the room.
