Chattanooga man accused of pulling out woman’s eyes
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Chattanooga man is arrested after being accused of pulling a woman’s eyeballs out.
Michael Deshun Roberson faces charges of aggravated assault and attempted first degree murder.
According to an affidavit, on Wednesday night police responded to Frances Drive on a domestic assault call. Officers say the victim was lying face down on the ground and an eyeball was lying next to her.
Roberson was taken into custody. The victim was taken to Erlanger, with injuries to her arm, a stab wound to her stomach and chest, and both eyeball were taken out.
Roberson told police he blacked out and didn’t remember what happened. He is expected to be in court on October 2.
