CPD investigating Appling Street Shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police are actively pursing any leads that may lead to the arrest of a suspect involved in a early morning shooting Sunday on Appling Street.

The call came in just before 4:30 a.m.

Crews responded to a local area hospital where they spoke to the victim who had arrived by personal vehicle after being shot.

Juane Joseph, 22, told police that he had been shot at 2111 Appling street by a suspect that was driving a white Dodge Charger.

Suspect information is unknown at this time, and Chattanooga Police are asking anyone with information on this crime to contact them at 423-698-2525.

Joseph is in stable condition with non-life-threading injuries.
