Hamilton County emergency personnel honored

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A ceremony and cook out recognized Hamilton County emergency employees Saturday as part of National EMS week.

It was held at the Vulcan Recreation picnic area.

There was also an awards ceremony for the employees.

Award that were handed out included Paramedic of the Year and Medical Call of the Year. The Trauma Call of the Year honored the personnel who responded to the Woodmore Bus crash last November.
