Hamilton County to return to school Thursday

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. – As Hamilton County Schools students get ready to hit the books again THIS Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017.

HCDE wanted to take a moment to remind parents about a few housekeeping items to make back to school a safe and successful experience.

  • Find your child’s zoned school here: School Zone Finder.
  • Make sure you know where your child’s bus stop is located. Find your child’s bus stop here: Bus Stop Locator.
  • If you need to contact HCDE’s Central Office Staff, please remember the number has changed. Please call 423-498-7020 with any inquiries about administration, transportation, student services, or student records.

Keeping these simple steps in mind, HCDE Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson believes back to school time can run smoothly across the County. “We are so excited to open the doors to the new school year and know that when every student shows up ready to learn on day one, it will be a terrific year,” Dr. Johnson said.

“Let’s work together to make the 2017-18 school year one of the best at HCDE.”
