Hamilton County School Board Confirms Superintendent Contract

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton county school board voted unanimously to confirm the contract of the incoming superintendent, Bryan Johnson.

The board confirmed this contract, but not before getting clarification about some of Dr. Johnson’s line items.

He says he is confident that the schools will succeed and he wants to get compensated for that success.


HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County School Board is meeting tonight to confirm the contract of the incoming superintendent.

The Hamilton County Board of Education voted 5-4 to name Tennessee educator Bryan Johnson the district’s new permanent superintendent.

Superintendent Rick Smith vacated the position 15 months ago and was replaced by Dr. Kelly as the interim superintendent.

Tonight we will receive the details of this new contract and hopefully catch up with Mr Johnson about his plans for the new school year.
