Signal Mountain Boulevard repairs underway

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tennessee (WDEF) – The road project on Signal Mountain Boulevard is now underway.

T-DOT responded to a request from two state lawmakers to repair the crumbling road.

The condition of parts of it near the top of the mountain, may be worse than first thought.

A signal light controls the traffic through the one lane section, and will add a few minutes to drivers’ commutes.

Work will take about eight weeks to finish.
