Walker County Sheriff’s deputies search for gas station robbers
LaFayette, GA (WDEF) – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office hopes you can help solve a couple of robberies.
Very early Sunday morning, two people held up the Kangaroo convenience store on Chattanooga Valley Road.
Officials say one suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money.
They got away with about $70.
Officials believe the same pair hit a gas station in Summerville about four hours before that.
Walker County Sheriff’s deputies say the two got away with about $1,000 when they held up Pure station on Highway 114 in Summerville around 10:00pm Saturday night.
